Hershey, Pennsylvania, runs two of the busiest concert venues in central PA every summer: Hersheypark Stadium, the outdoor stadium inside Hersheypark, and Giant Center, the indoor arena a short drive away on the same Hershey Entertainment & Resorts campus. Between the two, the summer touring season brings a steady run of shows from June through August, with Giant Center adding more dates into the fall.

If you’re planning a concert night this summer, the question isn’t just which show to see — it’s where to stay so the evening doesn’t end the moment the lights come up. This guide covers how the season works, how to plan around it, and why Inn of the Dove, an adults-only hotel about 15–20 minutes from both venues, is the stay couples keep coming back for.

The short version: Hersheypark Stadium and Giant Center are both within a 20-minute drive of Inn of the Dove. Every suite has a private jetted hot tub, most have a fireplace, and two have private heated indoor pools. Free private parking is included. Book 3–4 weeks ahead for big summer shows — pool suites go first.

Where Summer Concerts Happen in Hershey, PA

Hersheypark Stadium is the area’s outdoor venue, located inside Hersheypark itself and used for major touring acts during the park’s operating season — generally late May through August. It’s the venue you’ll see mentioned for big summer-only stadium tours, and tickets are sold separately from park admission.

Giant Center is the indoor option, a 10,500-seat arena that opened in 2002 and books concerts, the Hershey Bears’ AHL hockey season, and family shows year-round. Summer is one of its busiest concert stretches, alongside Hersheypark Stadium’s outdoor season.

Checking the 2026 Lineup

Both venues release and update their concert calendars on their own official sites and ticketing partners as shows are confirmed — Hersheypark Stadium’s lineup typically firms up through the spring as the park’s season approaches, and Giant Center adds dates throughout the year. The most reliable way to plan is to check each venue’s official event calendar directly, then lock in your suite once you have a date, since hotel availability and ticket on-sales don’t always move on the same schedule.

Planning Tip: Once you have tickets, book your suite right away. Pool suites and fireplace suites are the first to sell out on big summer concert weekends, sometimes weeks before the show itself.

What Makes the Difference After the Show

A summer concert night usually ends the same way at most hotels — a crowded lobby, thin walls, and a parking lot full of other concertgoers all checking in at once. Inn of the Dove is built differently. It’s a small, adults-only property exclusively for couples — no children on the grounds at any time, no pets, and hallways that stay genuinely quiet because the whole property is designed around privacy.

You park once at the hotel, drive to whichever venue your show is at, and come back to a suite that’s entirely yours — hot tub running, fireplace lit if you want it, no one else’s evening bleeding into yours.
